1. How many modules does a student have to complete to receive a Diploma in Hotel Management (DHM)?
There are 12 (twelve) modules you will need complete:

5. Food & Beverage Promotions
6. Financial Management
7. Housekeeping Operations
8. Front Office Management
9. Tourism Psychology
10. Kitchen Operations
11. Human Resources Management
12. Human Resources Development
2. How can a hotel make a claim from HRDB/PSMB when a student undertakes DHM?
PROLUS Scheme (Pre - approved program) - For DHM only
Procedures:

2. Attach MAHTEC Course Brochure
3. Attendance List will be prepared by MAHTEC
4. Confirmation letter, invoices, receipts prepared by MAHTEC
5. Hotel can only make a claim from Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad (PSMB) at the end of the training.
3. Can a hotel claim for other programs/courses besides DHM?
Yes, you may claim for:
1. Certificate Program (4 days course)
2. Public Program (2 days or 3 days course)
3. In - house Training
4. How can a hotel make a claim for other programs/courses?
A hotel can make a claim from Skim Bantuan Latihan (SBL) where 85% of the course fees will be covered. However, the hotel training must be approved by PSMB before commencement.
