| The Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH) have just received a letter from the National Wage Consultative Council (NWCC) informing the APPROVAL of the joint application submitted by MAH, MAHO, AHE and MBHA for the deferment of the implementation of the minimum wage for the industry has been approved. The new implementation date is 1 October 2013 so long as 3 conditions are adhered to.  | The Children Investigation Unit, D11 Criminal Investigation Department, of the Royal Malaysian Police are seeking assistance in searching for the missing child in the Missing Child's Poster here. All details are provided in the poster. If anyone has seen or heard of the where abouts of this child, please do not hesitate to contact and inform the relevant authorities. The Inspector in charge of the investigation is Insp. Mohamad Ehsan bin Abu Bakar whose mobile number is also provided along with the IPD of Seberang Perai Tengah telephone number. Let us all help in looking out for, Sathiskumar, aged 5, about 70cm in height and 15kg in weight, who was last seen at the Jalan Permatang Pauh area, in Seberang Jaya, Pulau Pinang. | the 13 MAH Charity Jam Session was successfully held in Penang on 16th July 2012. This is also the 1st time the event was held out of the Klang Valley. The efforts put in by the Penang Chapter especially the Organizing Chairman, Mr Lawrence Perera was exemplary. The Bayview Hotels in Penang also pledged RM10 per room night sold for the event at Bayview Georgetown toward the cause. Mr Edwin Yap the Area GM of Bayview Penang was responsible for this. The Penang crowd were treated to a MAH event like no other for the very 1st time and more than 2,000 people attended. We are confident that the event will achieve its target of raising RM30,000 for the cause. On behalf of MAH, our sincere appreciation goes out to the Penang MAH Chapter for making this happen. Before the accounts are closed by the Chapter, if there are any Members who would still like to pledge contributions, please feel free to do so in the form which you can download by clicking here.
